It would show all of us just how inequitable the tax laws are when those who make the most money pay the lowest tax rates, despite being the biggest users of the governments most important service, CURRENCY, which facilitates commerce.

They only pay lower rates by taking advantage of tax credits and deductions. Nothing is stopping you from doing the same thing.

Actually, now that I research it, you're right. There is not a law requiring that a president release his/her tax returns. Although, since Trump keeps saying that he's an "honest man," then why doesn't he release them. After all, he has nothing to hide from the American people, right?

Privacy for the sake of privacy. Even Presidents have a right to privacy. It didn't matter to be that he didn't show and millions of others didn't care either. I wouldn't have cared if any President in the past didn't want to show. Doesn't even make my top 100 important things about the person taking office. If you think about it you could probably easily name 20 issues from borders to firearms to foreign policy that's SUBSTANTIALLY more important than the President's tax returns. This is just another modern, liberal construct. It has nothing to do with anything. If he's not paying taxes don't you think the IRS would handle it? He claims he is audited by them annually which is probably true given he net worth.

I know his right to privacy, and I will respect that. Although, I am at least a little put off that he once promised to release them after the audits and then broke that promise. Trust me, it isn't on my top 100 things to worry about either, but that doesn't mean I'm not concerned. Although there are many other reasons to hate him, so it doesn't really matter that much when compared to other things.

I didn't thin POTUS had any semblance of privacy at least what Trump is used to. He spent a good deal of his campaign with his lips firmly planted on Putin's backside as well as inviting Russia to hack Hillary's emails. Considering they did just that, it behooves the intelligence community to wiretap the daylights out of Trump as a matter of national security. If he doesn't like it, we'll that's unfortunate. ..

I think everyone knows he's not paying taxes. He so much as admitted it during the debates. So it's got to be something else or someone else on there that he's afraid to admit to. Otherwise, what's he still got to hide? From the looks of things, it's probably something to do with Russia...

He's DEFINITELY hiding something, it's just hard to know what. Although, it may be even more than Russia, since he's looking to do business with Saudi Arabia and Egypt, the very countries that harbored the terrorists that did 9/11, and two countries that his company does business in.

His supporters will always spin what he does as OK....They can't accept he's a liar and continues to lie. He's not gonna have Mexico pay for the wall. He's not gonna locker her up.
