The Left only believes in the freedom of speech if they are the ones speaking. If your views differ from theirs then you need to shut up.

Meaning of Tolerance:
the ability or willingness to tolerate something, in particular the existence of opinions or behavior that one does not necessarily agree with.

Then what if I disagreed with you...

Muslims are peaceful
Christians are terrorists
Trump is evil'
We should've voted for Hillary
Guns are evil
Religion is ridiculous

If you have ever been "triggered" by things like this (that includes calling people who say such things immature names), then you might be a hypocrite...

Eight years of hyper sensitivity from the right telling the left they are wrong. Eight years of the left having free range of ideals. Now the positions are switched, and the right is acting smug and the left is hyper sensitive. They are out doing each other.

Yes, the peace & love movement was, for the most part, nonviolent, but Berkeley had some major crap go down back in the day.

Seriously, the narrative is that it was peace and love, but a lot of good riots were started and/or escalated by the flower people.

That is how I remember it as well.

What is happening today is a far cry from the injustice in the 60s. How can the black population not be offended when these protest are being equated to the 60s.

I feel like I'm the only one of my generation that actually has common sense...
Everyone in my school is like this to some extent, and everyone wonders why I'm antisocial and rarely ever speak to them.
I remember I had a vendetta of people in my middle school suddenly hate me because I questioned a Muslim girl. All I did was ask why she wasn't participating in the group and asked if it had something to do with her religion, since I didn't know much about it at the time. I was very polite about it, even rather curious, but most of all I was just worried about her failing the class because she wasn't participating.

Yeah don't get to discouraged. All to often the sensationalizing headlines get all the attention, but there are a plethora of level headed people out there. Just remember don't stoop to their level and don't hate.
