I'm both sorta liberal and a null-hypothesis agnostic, and I both celebrate (the secular aspects of) Christmas and wish others a Merry Christmas.

I'm an Atheist but I am not offended when someone says "Merry Christmas" because I also wear big boy pants. Christians don't say it to be offensive, they say it because they are delusional. Besides, it's meant as good cheer. If someone is offended by it then they need to ask themselves why others beliefs make them angry.

It is great to say Merry Christmas. What is wrong is having a government which promotes one religion over another. If that is what you want, you can always move to Iran.
