I can't even imagine what you must be feeling right now, I consider all of my fellow imgflippers to be friends, and I just wanted to let you know if you need to vent feel free to give me a shout out.

Thanks so much! Father actually, but I still appreciate it! He's 85 and got in a bad car wreck so it's iffy if he'll make it. No one else was hurt, thank god. I just don't want to see him suffer.

My fault for reading in a hurry. I understand that. I lost a dear friend after a car wreck I think it's harder to accept when it's unexpected. At least when there is a previous sickness you have time to mentally prepare yourself. I will be praying for you both!

That sucks man i dont know if hes doing any better but i hope he does my father got in a really bad car wreck and he hasnt been the same since. so i can really sympathise with this

Thanks for the thoughts, but no, he held on about 6 weeks but that was it, never got out of the hospital. That was 5 years ago but I still think about him a lot.

That’s really sad dude losing a loved one is really tough… I mean my dad might die soon to but not bc of the wreck and let’s hope (if u believe in a god) that he’s got the better deal

That last part is the reality, especially if someone's suffering. Yes, you want to keep them in your life forever but you've got to let go for their benefit.

That’s really smart I think I might have able to handle the stuff with my dad man cuz you do have to let got somehow some way it hurts when you do but you have to face it one way or the other
