The best way to avoid that is to keep your conversations civil and not violate the Terms Of Service. If you want to air your dirty laundry, that's fine, but every comment by any memer who violates the TOS is going to get flagged.
Civility needs to re-emerge on this site. Have disagreements, debates among opposing ideologies are good. The heart of your debate is good, I actually like the topic and have a different view I'd add. The manner in which the "debate" was conducted was against TOS on about 60% of the comments though.
