True, but it's not just political articles. Urban legend type articles too.

True, but if you refute something like the Good Times virus or that a duck's quack does not echo, they'll accept it. But dispute anything politically motivated and watch the go apeshit.

There are pages out there just to upset political minded people. Recently shared was a little boy, Timmy, saluting the US flag accompanied by comments that Facebook had removed it because foreign users found it offensive. Would be something to be outraged by, had it happened. Planted by a left wing pundit (not me) on a fake conservative page. SMH.

The difference is conservatives believe anything their news sources tell them without checking on the veracity of the statements: especially emails.

The sources you cite are merely starting points. Myself, I don't take much at face value, even the media. Especially the media. I look at multiple sources to verify something. As a writer, I pay close attention to news stories. The most factual news stories often leave much information out.

"Multiple sources" lol

Yeah, right. A common claim in an attempt to be "above it all" and more objective (smarter) than everyone else.

You can attempt to make a distinction, saying that conservatives are dumbass, gullible yuk yuks, but it doesn't fly when your "multiple sources" are all repeating the same things the DNC told them to say.

Isnt it amazing how Conservatives hate it when someone tries to improve their knowledge. It's like They want everyone to be ignorant.

Not all media is controlled by the left, and I will attempt to give sources a shot. I have trouble with fear mongering "journalists" though. You may not notice it, but as a writer with journalism training, I do. A few months ago, before I deleted my old account, Mooseman referred me to an article from one such journalist (blogger) trying to be the next Alex Jones of print. Thank God the writer made a better URL than article. I couldn't stomach the feat mongering more than three paragraphs, which, I point out, were uninformative. I used that URL, though, to find out what the hell the writer was talking about. Using, again, several sources, I found out it was about the Wikileaks posts that tied George Soros to Black Lives Matter. You may recall that. Strip away the fear mongering paranoia propaganda writing, and there was a story in there to make me angry.

Now you trash Snopes, but I've found them to be the least biased source. Take the Wall Street Journal fiasco a few months back where they showed two diametrically different headlines about our president elect. Snopes could have had a field day, but instead stuck go the facts. Read it for yourself: http://www.snopes.com/wsj-different-trump-headlines/

http://www.snopes.com/wsj-different-trump-headlines/

What they missed? Liberals said it was done to increase support for Trump.

Give me facts, I'll make a decision. Sometimes I have to make decisions I don't like, but I try to not be stupid enough to fool myself.

"They want everyone to be ignorant"
That's why they want school choice -- right?

Thankfully, the grownups are back in charge of both the Legislative and the Executive branches of government and the media and the Left's heads are exploding.

While both are good starting points, trolls won't believe them: facts have always had a liberal bias, so when repudiating something, you best have a solid source.

Certain people are going to believe whatever they want to believe and will not be held hostage by facts. For those people, anyone who agrees with them is "right" and anyone who disagrees is a "libtard/conservitard/part of the conspiracy/just plain wrong".

Especially Photoshopped pictures. Remember Obama's Kenyon "birth certificate" or his "foreign student" ID?

Welcome to the interwebs, where reality doesn't matter.

Long before I got involved with the internet, I wrote a satire that "proves" that The Smurfs was communist propaganda. I used actual facts of the show to prove my point, albeit, using selected facts. Had my mom read it when she visited. She laughed he ass off. A few weeks later, she visited my brother. His kids were watching the smurfs and Mom said I'd never let my kids watch it because it was commie propaganda. She mentioned some things in the article, and my brother got up, went oen the living room, and watched the show with his kids. From that day on, he forbade his kids from watching the program.

Yup, it sure is. I wrote it for my oldest girl to show her how easy it is to manipulate facts. My brother never read it, but believed it from a second hand account.

I just happen to be cynical enough to check. USUALLY????!
