ThankSteving November - Save Steve Harvey - Details In Comments

Do you like Steve Harvey being in the popular memes tab? Do you want to keep him from falling off?

Here's the easiest meme theme you'll ever participate in. Just use the Steve Harvey template several times a week through the end of November. If you're onboard, we'll extend through the end of November due the U.S. Thanksgiving holiday since fellow memers may not be logging as much time or submitting as many memes.

Want to support keeping the template around but don't want to use the image itself? Don't want to see the front page covered in Steve Harvey memes? Just "Add Image" like I did with Matrix Morpheus over there. As far as imgflip's algorithms are concerned it'd still be a Steve Harvey template that was submitted.

I did some trial and error testing and once the image gets so big it counts as a custom template.

I checked the image page on that one, and that one still counts as a Steve Harvey template. So I guess that's one way to add variety to any Harvey memes, you just have to make sure it still has the "Re-caption This Image" button before submitting memes.

did you lose a submission over it? i lost a couple recently when i realised i'd made typos and deleted the originals :-/

No, I just created the images, no actual tests were submitted. I was concerned prior to submitting the one I did (the Re-Caption This Image button wasn't there, but I didn't know if that was because it wasn't featured yet or not). Once it didn't feature at the time it was supposed to, I knew it got treated like a custom template and then did some additional testing without using submissions.

that makes sense about the "re-caption" button. If the template i want use isn't in "popular templates", i quite often download a blank copy of the meme i want to use and upload it from my hard-drive. i find that easier than using the "add image" feature, often with that it takes 2 or 3 attempts to find another image with the same aspect ratio as the image i'm trying to add! :-/

I'm just not a fan of add image. For ones where I want to combine multiple images I always use Paint, but I did get another image editing program from the Microsoft Store that let's me add .pngs, so I may start using that one as my primary image editor.

i use paint.net for lots of stuff. it was originally made by MS Paint programmers to replace Paint but never MS released it. So the programmers released it on their own...and it's free too! :-D

"paint.net" is the name of the program, you can check it out at www.getpaint.net i was telling someone about this on here before and he thought it was an online image editor so went to www.paint.net which is a paint manufacturers web site! :-p

It's so one dimensional, it's basically a less funny version of doge.

I don't think they take into account the memers who sign in and reply memes enough. It seems like only memes created carry weight, and replies have nothing to do with a meme being in the popular memes tab.

I racked my brain for 5 minutes and that was the best I could come up with...combination lol and :(

On my phone it was next to impossible to do multiple text boxes on a stretched image overlay. So I just added the image below and that was easier:)

How will I ever be able to post sarcastic replies without this template? You wanna dump one - get rid of "Doge"!!! Can't we get the Trump protesters to add this to their signs....#NOTMYMOD !?!?!?
