How did Obama's presidency effect racism in America? I don't really get why people hated obama in general, so if you could inform me, that'd be great.

No problem. I will say that back in the early 1970's I would do some DJ work in Black clubs in Florida and NEVER worried about anything but having fun. Today you can't pay me to go near that are for the chance of being shot, stabbed or killed and robbed just because i'm not black... it's a shame and my Black friendfs say the same thing. It seems to be turning to reverse racism now , what the blacks fought for is turned against others.

Now, hang on a second...I used my powers of observation and studied this photo carefully.

He could be actually be right, especially since the photo doesn't provide any actual context. I have a pool, and I have poured acid in it while my kids were swimming, from a bottle just like the one in the picture. It's called cyanuric acid and it's very safe. It binds to the chlorine and works like sunscreen for your pool chemicals, which is essential to keeping the water clean, especially during very sunny days.

It also wouldn't make sense for him to be pouring a dangerous acid in a hotel pool just because he didn't like who was swimming in it at the time, because then he would potentially have a great expense and several day process of draining and refilling a pool, and hotel managers and owners are notoriously cheap, plus it would cause complaints of other guests who would want to use the pool.

Furthermore, there is a white guy in the water, right where he is pouring acid. If he was that racist, why would he practically be pouring dangerous acid on the white guy?

Now, if he was actually stupid enough to do what you say he is doing, then what he is doing is unacceptable and I hope he went to jail and the hotel went out of business. I just don't want to hang this guy out to dry without all the facts first.

I thought about your first point already, but didn't mention this before: If you look at the man, he's mid-step. He's not standing there pouring, he's walking and pouring, which is how you put the chemicals in...you walk around the outside while you pour. Granted, the picture is the product of bad timing. If it had been taken a moment later, he could have either turned and stopped and kept pouring on the people, or he could have been going around the pool and been nearly out of the shot. That one moment in time changes the entire apparent context of the picture.

Hate makes people do that. Unfortunately there's still plenty of bigots left in this world.
