In Alberta, the natives killed bison by chasing them off cliffs. Maybe that road sign is near a cow hunting area :D

I love Buffalo meat...I just wish it wasn't so expensive.

I had buffalo jerky once. I had it Colorado, really liked it, so far never seen it anyplace else.

There's a place called Straight Arrow Bison that travels around to some of the farmer's markets in Nebraska...they usually have some. I bought a 3 lb roast from them once for around $35...I had a friend smoke it for me...it was delicious.
