Who are you pointing it out to? To the person who made the meme, or to the people viewing it? And what's the goal?

Not to the person who made it because he knows it's a repost. I just don't want the people who saw this to think of it as OC. It's happened to me before. Nothing against the meme or the user.

Why would you care what other people think about a post? And maybe more to the point, why on earth would anyone assume that content they see on a meme site is original? That isn't really the point of making memes.

Yes, but that is not the point. The caption + image is. This person used almost an entire image + caption from someone on the front page.

It's not your job to go around letting people which memes are reposts and which aren't.
