I Understand. I was asleep when the phone rang at 5 am in Alaska and I was advised that we were under attack to lock and load and fire up the Emergency comm system for Eastern Alaska Homeland Security. I watched in Horror when the plane went down in Pennsylvania because my friend Tom was supposed to be on that plane. I found out later that he had overslept and missed the flight. It still sends a chill up my spine thinking about it and when the towers went down and the Pentagon was struck. Our Prayers go out to all on this Somber anniversary !

I been to both memorial, the one In New York and the one in Arlington.

It seemed like the right move at the time. Hindsight is always 20/20.

There has also been an awful lot of revisionists rewriting everything the led up to what happened after.

I know right, I felt good to be thankful for what we have, which most people tend to forget...

I know, sometimes I make sure the meme is perfect and then when I see it later it has the grammar mistake.

I was 4 when they came down. The news was playing the crash footage on a loop and I remember asking my mom why they kept flying the planes into the buildings.

I remember getting up and taking the baby to daycare when I heard about "a small plane has hit one of the towers." I got home turned on the news to see the 1st tower in flames, a few minutes later the second tower was hit. I don't think I moved from where I was standing until the towers collapsed. I then woke my wife up and told her the towers were gone. Strangest day of my life. Something I will never forget. Hoping and praying that people were finding a way out.

I was four when this happened and don't remember much but... Damn. Bless America.

What sucks is Bush knew this this was going to happen but ignored it and went fishing. Another thing is in the 2000 election Al Gore was to win but, Bush had his cousin tamper with the votes so he could win. Bush's cousin also supplied the bin laden family their money. Last thing is Bush was on vacation 42 percent of the time he was president. Which means he wasted 3 years and 2 months on vacation saying he needed a break. This is all because of bush.
