Unless I'm misjudging the power of Cyclops eye rays, I think it would be a rather one sided battle. Cyclops can't fly and has to be looking at what he wants to shoot. Iron man could just rain artillery down on him from above.

Agreed. He has missile clusters. Cyclops couldn't shoot all of them out of the air.

If it was Wolverine or Deadpool who have healing abilities they might have a better chance to wear Iron Man down. I've always though of Cyclops as just a member of the X-men who has a powerful attack, but would get his butt kicked without the other X-men playing defense for him, but that's my opinion lol

Yeah, Cyclops is kind of the glass cannon of the X-Men.

well Iron man have more ways to fight then Cyclops yeah he can be powerful
but Iron man have more moment and nearly have a piece of armour for every type of problem so it's Iron man hand down

The one thing I believe he has that Iron Man doesn't is the fact that he is his own weapon. It's literally a part of his genetic make-up, if you will. Until he is somehow KILLED, he can keep coming and coming, whereas Stark's weaponry can lose power whilst in battle.

People are assuming optic blasts are his only power. He also has a hyper spatial awareness that allows him to hit multiple targets effortlessly. Not only that, but he actually disarmed Thor and creamed Dormammu. The eye beams come from another dimension. Sooo, it's a tough call. Btw, he also took the top off a mountain.

What about the fact that he's intelligent enough and mature enough to be a group leader. Can't say the same for Iron Man. I like Iron Man more than Cyclops, ever since I was a kid, so this isn't me playing favorites

Same here. Ironman is a more rounded guy and less whiny. However, even in his three films and Avengers films, he's always wrong.
