Here are my tips. Try to time your releases for late afternoon to early evening eastern time. You have some funny stuff and I will return when I have more time and look at all. Be active in comments, it helps a lot in knowing what others will find funny and how to "craft" your meme. Its simple but there is some art to go along with the ideas. Also as you make comments you will find that you make friends, people who will seek out your creations from your profile. Those are the best I've got:)

Actually I will add one more to that. When you get comments respond and upvote PROMPTLY!!! That can keep comments going on your memes and p[ossibly attrack more viewers. Many is the time I'e upvoted a meme I would have bypassed, because it enduced some really good comment streams.

Funnily enough, one of the easiest ways for a meme to get a lot of upvotes (50+) is if it already has a good number of upvotes on it.

The way imgflip works, more upvotes means a meme goes higher in the Hot stream. Since it seems like a lot of people who come to imgflip only have time to browse the first few pages on top, the memes that are already high will go higher and get more votes.

I have no idea if that helps or not!

Share your memes on the front page memes. Meaning, link them on other user's front page memes. Most users don't mind and if they do...too bad. Imgflip tells you to do this for more views, so the users who have a problem with it can go create their own site.

I'm sorry, but that's really bad advice. Also, it's not accurate that imgflip tells people to do this.

When imgflip tells you to share memes for more views, they're talking about clicking one of the buttons below the meme to share it to another social media platform (Reddit, Facebook, Twitter, etc.)

They're not talking about advertising your memes on other people's memes to get more views.

Site terms say not to spam - one of the examples they give is to not to post links exclusively to your own content.

Spamming links to your memes everywhere on the front page to try to draw people to your memes is not okay.

Also, please notice that none of the users who are regularly on the weekly.high scoring leaderboard have got to that position by putting links to their memes onto front page memes.

And most users who have tried doing that haven't done very well with it, as far as I've seen.

unless its one of those posts that calls for your unfeatured memes and whatnot. haven't actually seen one of them for a while, might get onto that in a minute
