Heard of taking the lord's name in vain? It's hardly a sign of respect...last time I was really scared, I said, "jesus christ". I didn't mean to, it just popped out of my trap when there was a juddering great earthquake at daft o'clock in the morning which seriously startled me awake. It wasn't a prayer - it was like Tourettes or something, it just came out. One can refer to a deity without believing in it. Doesn't mean I am not an atheist. Besides, it takes too long to say, 'Oh my fictional character".

But the existence of Jesus has been scientifically proven. Whether or not he was a diety is unexplainable in today's science. I just wouldn't count it out yet

He's not scientifically proven.. But he DOES exist. What other people want to believe about him is their business. Ik God is real because many of the things he says in the Bible have been proven true- For instance, "they will despise you for your faith". In the end, we share the gospel with them, and move on. God doesn't force himself on anyone and he sure doesn't need us to do it for him ;D

I think your reasoning is flawed when you say you know he's real because his biblical predictions came true. Santa tells us good kids get toys.
