I would be fine with the gorilla issue being discussed on anywhere but Imgflip, which is built for humor, not tragic news. I don't like the "stupid gorilla" remark though. I isn't his fault he was shot. It was the negligent parents who caused all this.

An eternally Grumpy Cat murders hundreds for attention and no one cares. But God forbid a gorilla is shot to protect the child of negligent parents.

People are killing other people every single day. If we were to make a meme about every person who is killed by another person, that is all imgflip will be. As far as the gorilla goes, I still say it should never have been shot. The foremost gorilla expert Jane Goodall even stated that the gorilla was trying to protect the child. But if you think we should stop making memes about the gorilla, then maybe we should also stop making memes about the presidential race, celebrity deaths, and anything else that isn't considered to be humorous.
