Well, to be clear, it's not all atheists. I'm referring mainly to satanists and a user on this site I was arguing with earlier. That's basically his logic in a nutshell.

Satanists are not atheists. Real atheists don't believe in the Christian bad guy either.

I was mainly pointing out how some people have taken the ridiculously stupid position that God hates us and Satan loves us.

But those people can't be atheists. You realize that, right?

Maybe he/she doesn't realize it. You might be surprised how many Christians just can't get their heads around the fact that there are people who honestly don't believe their fairy tale. The brainwashing can be quite strong.

A real Atheist doesn't have to "defend" anything. You're speaking with butthurt people who were raised religious or someone tried forcing it on them at a young age and they rebelled. And yes, they are stupid.

I use the same defense against religion that I use to defend against Dr Seuss.

Im sorry if i offended you, that was not my intent. I tried reading the bible and finding faith after my mother died, i was unable to reconcile my feelings with the word of the gospel. I do notbelieve in god or the devil, nor do i push my beliefs on others, i just didnt understand which side you were coming from...

No. you started the discussion/debate and then are unwilling or unable to defend your position. Then you post a separate meme along the same lines that totally mis-characterizes my points. I just happened to see it because I frequently go through the new posts rather than the HOT ones.
