Seriously, I Know You Get Points For Comments And Upvotes. I Want To Know How Many For Say An Upvote On Your Comment. ETC.

This was posted a while back. I'm not sure if the part about getting negative points from downvotes is right, but other than that it seems to match my experience.

I think maybe at one time it was. I was a few points from 30k and a new icon and got into a scrap with a dipshit, the next morning I was down about a thousand points. But I dont know what the deal is now.

How long ago? I haven't noticed since I started in early January.

That was last year, octoberish. My early days. We still had the downvote bar. I checked all my memes and saw my downvotes had increased. The ones that had none, suddenly had one so on a so forth.

It might be possible that it's stored somehow, so that your score doesn't go down, but if someone downvotes you, it cancels out the next upvote, maybe? I'm not sure.
