Back in the day we did listen to him a lot. But that's been years now. We are old :D

I watched him last year on SNL with his all woman band doing a 14 minute song. I always appreciated his musicianship, a little on the odd side, but f**k it. He was talented. In terms of old being relative, the queen just turned 90, Im half her age. Ha ha ha

The only time I listened to him was when something was played on the radio....
and I was too f****ing lazy to change stations.

I never really listened to him. I never had objections to his music, but I never went out of the way to listen to it. I'm still grieving over Bowie and Lemmy. 2016 has been a sh** year.

Side note, Guy Hamilton also died yesterday. Director of some of the older Bond films.

I didn't listen much until "Lets Go Crazy" got my attention.

I watched a concert of Prince, he started humping the stage, and then I switched to listening to Eminem. :l

He wasn't exactly known for self control :/

Hey, I was a fan of Prince! Not a die-hard, wear-a-purple rain T-every-week fan, but I don't mind his music when I hear it.

I kinda stopped listening after "The Artist Formerly Known As" The 7 Album. But the fact that I can even tell you this, should confirm I enjoyed Prince. ;)

That moment when you're 16 and know more about Prince and his music than your 50 year old math teacher.

I never really was a fan, I heard a couple of his songs and they were cool... :/ RIP to a Legend :(

2016 has been a big year for losing musicians. David Bowie, Glenn Frey, and now Prince.

It technically started late last year with Lemmy and Natalie Cole (maybe others too that I forgot to mention)... and then it just spiraled out of control downhill into this year. You forgot to mention Maurice White and David Bowie's drummer (can't remember the name) as well as other famous people like Brian Bedford, Alan Rickman, David Gest, Ronnie Corbett, Vanity etc. I know I missed out on some, but the list shouldn't be this big! :( This creepiness better stop! O.o
