Thanks. It's a character called (ahem) "Cupid Stunt" from the "Kenny Everett Show" from the late 70s early 80s. He was a radio DJ who had a sketch show with various characters. He was also helped "Bohemian Rhapsody" become a hit. Everyone thought it was too long (5min 55) and that no one would play it but he was friends with Freddie Mercury and thought it would be a hit - he apparently played it 14 times in 2 days and the rest, as they say, is history. It's worth checking out his stuff on YouTube - the special effects look rubbish but some of it stands up. :)

So lovely to see Kenny without 'drag'. He was a hero in our house back in the day and loved as much as the Pythons for his anarchic, surreal humour (plus a great pair of legs!). I loved his tag line for Cupid, 'All in the best possible taste'. Cried hard when he died, like Freddie Mercury, way too young. Seeing your images really brightened my day. Took me back far too many years! Cheers.:)
