I just don't understand why parents have to give their kids phone at early ages like 5 or 6. That's a little disgusting if you ask me. This also is just said that a fast food place has to do something like this to get a family to talk together. :/

I agree, 3 years ago when my daughter entered into high school is when she got one and that was more for my benefit as a single dad than hers.

Yeah that reason I got a phone in the first place, my parents just want me to call them right after school. When I got my first phone, it was a flip phone (Razor I think), that I got in middle school. Hopefully, I will not have to get a phone for my future kids when they are only like in elementary school. ;(

Am pleasantly surprised! Apparently imgflippers seem to agree (except a few {below} that feel the need to throw stones at Chick fil A because of their conservative values). Why not just appreciate their generosity and creative approach to a societal problem? Chick fil A has some of the best paid, courteous, well trained fast food employees I've seen.

Neither am I. But the comment just called to me for a response as I do kit see the power of the boycott play out in anything except some uniform company that pushed a political agenda for abortion and is now losing parochial school uniform orders.

How about making it a social norm to not use your cellphone while conducting business with someone in a public business? For example, in line at a fast food restaurant then you get to the front and call the "fam" to see what all 8 of them want. All the while the line behind you is building up to the front door.
