Many states provide free or reduced college to students from both in and out of state. As much as I despise CT, I do have to credit that to the state. Community college and other appropriate resources, including online education, are often free for the asking. So what it's not "a good school" -- books are the same. Get over it.

Where are you getting that from what I said? When everyone becomes a doctor, you are atill going to need people to fix the tires in your car and mow your yard. Now, are you saying that you want educators, directors, IT crew, cleaning crew working in college work for free? Are you some sort of slaver?

I agree, debt is bad. People should not buy things they can't afford. Praise God people that are resourceful can get cheap education from the internet and tech schools. People that get in debt made their own decision, nobody forced them. They failed to be resourceful.

Colleges are funded by tax dollars . Just like public high schools. They're not funded privately. Ask yourself why are they charging tuition? It's double dipping.
