Zohran Mamdani claims his position on defunding the police has changed, but he's still haunted by his past comments calling to dismantle the NYPD.

One of Mamdani's most blunt arguments against law enforcement was in 2021 as a New York State Assemblymember, when he said defunding the NYPD was about redirecting police funds toward social services he believed could better address the root causes of public safety concerns.

Now, Mamdani says candidates should be transparent about what they believe, while acknowledging those views can evolve.

He stresses that he no longer supports defunding the police and would not pursue the policy.

They are all lying hypocrites, everyone knows it. The drones don't know how to hold them accountable, so the process continues. Their real problem is we do know them, we don't trust them and never even if force was applied would we follow them.
