Parents need to parent their children, not have the government do it for them. The end goal of this is to completely de-anonymize the internet so every post, comment, and account can be traced back to a person. The Online Safety Act will expand into much more than just “protecting children.” It’s going to be used to limit the flow of information.

Spotify implemented a program to where uses have to scan their face to listen to music labeled as Explicit (no more shit like Eminem) and Youtube + Google want to bring the policy here by letting an AI guess what your age is, ignoring if you have stated it anyone on your page/channel. And if you’re in the wrong age group, then you have to send your government ID, Selfie, or credit card number to youtube/google to get it fixed (this is going to everywhere around the world).
