Quite sure many of the legislators in session that day would gladly "not attend", and are quite bored with being forced to have such trashy/skanky entertainment up in their face, repulsed, not "curiously fascinated" as is your expressed concern. If not for their own business of the people they represent that make up their own constituency across all the counties of that state, one imagines they'd have left the building. How professional.

They could invite them to a show at their private business venue and leave them tickets.
