I'm not sure if that's motivated by hatred of if he's trying to teach people a lesson. Many people say you should teach your kids gun safety by either shooting a watermelon or having your kids shoot a watermelon. That sounds like a good idea to me, because seeing is believing, and there are people out there who believe bullets can be stopped by ordinary paper books, or that if you're fat enough, the bullet won't hurt you that much.
