It's available in video editing tools and called chroma green screen. I basically take out the yellow flame in the source, overlap it with my 2nd gif and one more layer on top of source with a bit of fade touch up.

Number 1 thing to remember when splicing and muxing for video comp is layers. Always remember and try to visualize the project you're attempting to achieve by layers.
