I'll address a few things from your comment.
Firstly, the GIF with the obese woman. You say "I... would be so embarrassed to be... so obese that I would consider it a 'wake-up call' and lose weight."
I agree a lawsuit is extreme. But ow many times do you think obese people have been humiliated by instances (deliberately or undeliberately) and got what you call, a 'wake-up call'? How many times do you think they have felt terrible because the obesity they struggle with is genetic, meaning that it is out of their control? How many times do you think they wish that they could lose weight, and would not have to constantly suffer because they can't?
Secondly, I've never heard my country be called 'The Land of the Free and The Home of the Brave'. I thought that referred to the USA? Besides, it's a very outdated term. Hardly applies anymore, if it ever did.
Thirdly, I don't 'choose to be on the left side'. My social views are progressive; that's a fact. I don't deny it. But I find it useless to shove everyone who holds political views into a box. I don't identify as a 'left-winger', and for someone who supports (I say supports, not votes for because I doubt you are at voting age in your country) Donald Trump and the far-right, you do sure seem to be freaking out about shoving people into boxes when it comes to folks like mecalling your supported figures 'neo-fascists'.
Yet, you then laugh and belittle those who freak out about being shoved into boxes to do with things like 'gender' or 'ideology'.
Also, I agree with you. The Democrats have lost their way. Times are changing; the liberal world order is coming to a close. Soon, and in fact already, parties and groups who support these neo-liberal and free market capitalist ideas, are fast being shown their place by the international populace.
The Democrats, and liberals in general, have lost their way in the US and many other places. But I cannot agree that the answer to failed neo-liberalism is a racist, sexist, aggressive and equally outdated system of government.
There may be no doubt in your mind about which 'side' is in the right. Fair enough. But as for there being 'the right side and the wrong side', you are sorely mistaken. There is no 'right side' or 'wrong side' in politics. Morality like this exists outside politics, not within.
No TL:DR. It would be good for you to read a progressive's opinion, in all it's shortened glory.
You send a text-essay; a sensible progressive will reply in kind.
