Where I stand, I prefer working for stuff instead of taking the P2W route. You say you prefer a relaxing experience as opposed to paying or grinding, yet you talk in favor of P2W.
For some, a relaxing gaming experience might be casual and calm. Like Minecraft Creative mode, Stardew Valley, or Slime Rancher. Others find casually grinding for an item to be relaxing, especially when compared to the chaos of the boss fights.

I mean, it's basically just getting paid to play the videogame.

Im trying to flex on the people who payed for the item, that's what

so you spend hours and hours on end to get an item of the same or higher value. Like just flex your skills

Usually no, but sometimes getting an item that others pay for feels good

but you used a worse method to do it

I feel like spending money would be the worse way because you could get it for free in a few hours

no because you are not wasting 30 hours of your life for a virtual item

instead you are probably wasting about 1 hour of job money

There are only three people spending money regularly on video games as opposed to working for items.
1. Kids with rich parents/Spoiled children
2. Rich people/People that make a lot of money from their job
3. Impulsive buyers/People that don't budget their money

You sound like the type of person that wouldn't enjoy games like Terraria and Minecraft because you have to work for your gear

“I wouldn’t enjoy minecraft”

Getting netherite gear and getting good enchantments takes a lot of time and dedication. You seem to be against that

yes, but you dont need to play for several hours in a single session, plus creative mode gives you much more creativity. and huge creations can take a while.

and besides, I never argued for p2w, but I am arguing that p2w is as bad as grinding

I don't see how. One is spending money, the other you work for your stuff. A large part of most games is that you have to work for your stuff. You want to craft this powerful sword? Go collect all the materials. It might take you a few hours, but it will all he worth it once you beat that boss

working for your stuff is fine as long as you do it at a reasonable rate.

i don’t control their opinion, some thing can easily be identified as generally not good

That's a some what fair point, but some people enjoy putting in the hard work to get an item that will help them a lot in game. Having something like music or a podcast makes the experience a lot better. You may not have the willpower to grind for an item, but others might. Just because you don't agree, doesn't mean it's immediately incorrect

Everything about you reeks of insecurity. By portraying everyone else as inferior and yourself as superior, you ironically enough show yourself to be inferior by attempting to cut everyone down. You have also stated that paying for the same thing would be less costly than simply grinding out whatever game is in question. From a technical standpoint, you have forgotten to take into consideration that many, many games overprice their microtransactions, and that unless you live outside the United States, you will probably not be making above $15 USD an hour (considering how horrendous the job market treats its working class). So it would certainly take longer than you assume.

TL;DR, you may or may not need a minor reality check

$15 will probably get you the item. I never mentioned paying for anything else in my argument, simply a comparison between the time wasted. Plus, you forgot the cost of the power needed to keep your game running to grind
1 up, 3mo
If you buy the item then it doesn't feel rewarding. Spending the time and putting in hard work to get something like the Zenith in Terraira feels super rewarding. If I could just buy it, it wouldn't feel the same
0 ups, 3mo
For a lot Triple A games, $15 likely won't be enough for P2W items. Cosmetics, $15 will probably be enough, but cosmetics aren't P2W.

Although, PenguinUnknown, your second point about how rewarding it feels is undeniably true. But is the feeling worth the insane grinding?
0 ups, 3mo
then maybe don’t play those overprices P2W games, PenguinUnknown, but if the game is good enough to justify the cost in either time or money for the item, I could understand grinding provided it is not an insane amount. Which means your claim is maybe valid.
