They had ZERO right to block traffic. They could have stood on the side of the road, but once they impeded others (borderline kidnapping), they broke the law.

The 1A has some scope. If they had a permit to block the highway, then fine, your post would be valid.

So, did they have a permit?

In this particular situation, yes, f**k the first amendment, because when a few people are protesting about something like that in the middle of the desert holding up traffic for what appears to be miles, anything they say does not matter as much as clearing the traffic jam. In most other, more sensible cases, no, the first amendment is a guaranteed right to all Americans.

The 1A does NOT allow for protests like this.

What violence? That's pretty peaceful treatment for people who've ignored the orders of law enforcement to disperse from their illegal demonstration, which is blocking what should be free access to a public highway. I see nobody being hurt, nobody being denied their constitutional rights, nor abused in any way.

The libtards had the chance to disperse peacefully, but didn't take it. So YES prager, this, however anyone cares to characterize it, is their own fault.

Did you see the full video? There was a line extending as far as the eye could see of people who were stuck in their cars in the middle of the hot desert. So do those people loving libtards give them gas when they run out? Do they have contingencies for people with medical emergencies?
