Seriously yolo?
Okay, just off the top of my head, they lied about what he said in his announcement speech. He did not say all Mexicans are rapists. Go back and read what he said.
They lied about what he said at Charlottesville. He did not call white supremacists fine people. He was clearly, very clearly talking about the protestors on both sides. Go back and read the speech. Hell, throw in the recent lies about him saying there would be a bloodbath if he doesn't win. It's *almost* like they are on the lookout for inflammatory words, so they can jump right in and take everything out of context.
They lied when:
- they said he wanted people to drink bleach
- they said he wanted nuke hurricanes
- they said he would destroy the economy
- they said he had called fallen US soldiers were 'suckers' and 'losers'
- they said he'd get us into a war... who's doing that now? Demented Joe is.
- they said he gave the finger to the Italian PM at a G7 summit
- they said there was a video of him being peed on by a Russian hooker
- they said Trump had re-written the Bill of Rights, replacing the word "people" with "citizens"
For that last one, it was only changed in a WhiteHouse.gov summary of the Constitution, and in actuality the change to the summary had been made by the Obama administration.
yolo, people ACTUALLY BELIEVED that Trump had re-written the Constitution! What does that say about them? More importantly, what does it say about their utter lack of interest to even look into whether or not they're being routinely lied to by the media?
Here in the SF Bay Area block of the Peoples' Republik of Taxifornia, the days/weeks after the 2016 election were filled with lying stories about Trump supporters beating up gay folks, destroying their property, etc. And if you didn't engage in groupthink about those stories, of course you're labeled racist.
It never stops, yolo. Hell, modda lied telling me that "Trump literally had his own Gestapo unit..." People believe this crap because of the sources they choose for their info. Follow only left or right wing web sites for news and chances are you're going to believe everything they tell you. And we both know that in most cases these stories do not come from journalists, but from people with agendas. Or yes, sometimes journalists with agendas. And they don't give a rat's rear about actual facts. All they care about are clicks and pushing their narrative. And the sheeple, like modda? They just soak it up.
