If he didn’t then we all know Satanists would take advantage of the opportunity and then they’d have to be allowed because of the first amendment.

Maybe you could see this as a blessing in disguise?

The language barring religious depictions in/on art for a government sponsored is a violation of the first amendment.

Your "scare tactic" referencing "satanists" fails to lead people to acceptance.

Any "satanist" entry would be submitted solely for the purpose of "stirring the sh...er...pot".

Why do I say this with a strong amount of reasonable certainty?

The "satanists" are not known for their celebrations of the resurrection of the Christian Messiah.

You think you are praising state sponsored equality, however you are in reality praising state sponsored atheism.

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof"

"B,b,but rules aren't laws!"

When it comes to government sanctioned activities the difference does not apply.

Be of good cheer though...the devil and mrs biden, while fully accepting of the removal of the Christian element of the pagan spring fling, have inserted the celebration of the new religion by declaring this Easter sunday "transvisible" day.

Okay, I did research on this topic, and it turns out (brace yourself) I was wrong.

This rule wasn’t made by Biden or his administration at all, but it’s been in place for 45 years! And not even by then President Ronald Reagan, but by the American Egg Board, who runs the annual event

This does not change the fact that the language on the flyer outlining the rules is unconstitutional.

Had I known this rule existed in previous years I would have taken steps attempting to have the language removed.

ALL entries should be accepted.

The judges of the contest may apply their prejudices and biases in determining which submission they find the most attractively decorated in the same way as personal "taste" is applied in selecting the winner of a beauty pageant or singing contest.

The eggs decorated for the contest are not the eggs are that get "rolled". No "satan scare" necessary.

Now, that doesn’t sound like such a bad idea, actually

The people at Fox News must be laughing all the way to the bank. They make up any old nonsense, knowing that you won't fact check them. Not once.

That ban on art has been in place for 45 years. So... I guess you were fine with it during the Trump years? And the Bush II years. And the Bush 1 years. And the Reagan years.

Emily Metz, president and CEO of the American Egg Board, a group that supports the White House Egg Roll, said in a statement, "The American Egg Board has been a supporter of the White House Easter Egg Roll for over 45 years and the guideline language referenced in recent news reports has consistently applied to the board since its founding, across administrations."

Except the "egg board" is practicing discrimination.

Why have I not been outspoken about this before?

I did not know this before.

Now I do.

They did exclude, in writing, in violation of the 1st Amendment.

Prayer in school is not excluded. It simply cannot be required or led by a school employee in their official capacity.

1) Why would "satanists" participate in the celebration of the Christian Messiah rising from the dead?

2) I am willing to take the chance that few of the children of national guardsmen are "satanists".

I did not read the rest of your lengthy diatribe due to lack of interest.

"Satan! Satan!"

😄

Here is what YOU are missing:

The egg decorating contest is open to the children of National Guard members ONLY.

I doubt that any "satan" eggs would be selected at the state level competitions.

Furthermore, the parents of children that do not worship and/ or celebrate the Christian Messiah's rising from the dead would hardly be inclined to encourage their child to participate, although they are free and welcome to do so.

Good news for leftist radicalized liberal democrats is that EVERYONE is awarded a participation ribbon!

You do not understand how the early Christians worked.

Pagans were always partying while the early Christians were busy flogging themselves.

They had to jazz things up to increase their numbers.

How do they do that?

By absorbing, appropriating, and incorporating pagan parties into the novel Christian doctrine and dogma.

I understand.

You became an expert on the origins of Easter after finding a result from your frantic google search that suited your narrative.

The chances of a National Guard soldier being a member of the church of Satan is non-zero. I've never been able to track it down, but apparently the Bush II adminstration updated the Army Chaplin handbook to include the Church of Satan as a recognized religion.

And assuming there are no members of the National Guard that are also members of the Church of Satan is how you lose lawsuits for violating the 1st Amendment.

Also, because apparently you still haven't read what I wrote earlier, I'll re-post it here.

Easter has always been a Christian Holiday. Anyone who tells you that it was a co-opted pagan holiday is wrong.

The eggs and the bunny were added by German Catholics. The word Easter came from England (a monk made it up, there was never a pre-Christian goddess with a name like that).

None of your praising of satan makes a difference in my argument as presented.

Clear your head of satan worshipping for a moment and reread my statement.

You will see I clearly outlined everything and your repeated "hail satan" replies are baseless.

Try it before continuing grandstanding on behalf of the dark lord of iniquity.

As for Easter, google again and read search results that do not support your preferred preconceived narrative.
