Indeed! Many issues go directly against other "important issues" but they are passionate about both. I was poli sci and education double major until I asked the dean of education, in a world of bell shaped curve for learning abilities, why are we forcing all kids to learn algebra. If someone will never use that level of math, why do we set so many up to fail? His answer? We need them to all think alike...? I changed majors. It's been decades of indoctrination subtle at first to openly blatant. Wanting everyone to think alike is not just evil and disgusting, but the world needs people that are unique. People that can invent and innovate should always be cultivated and encouraged. Civilization becomes stagnant very fast without these things. America has become such a mess that we make things up to be mad about. Each outrage must be embraced by the masses without question. Any cognizant dissonance experienced must be crushed by the group think mob. Sadly I don't believe we have yet seen how deep the insanity train is going to run. One group wants to be seen as normal, accepted, and mainstream and when they are, another fringe group demands the same thing. They say diversity, but diversity of thought is not accepted. We have gone where we can't accept that we are all just humans. We are special simply because we are human. "I am what I do, or look like, or believe. I am" No civilization has ever lasted when this mentality takes over. There is always a great fall and a long dark period. The next fall, no one left alive will want to be a part of. Tragically, when all you have is hatred, shouting, and violence; you are ill equipped to survive such a fall. Those of us choosing yobrave the storm and calls for our "heads" may only be able to save a relative few. Still, gotta try.
