I've heard some games have a 'boss button' feature; where you push a button (say F10) and the screen will change to something like a word processor or a spread sheet: with bogus data in it; something that bears some resemblance of work, all while keeping your game paused in the background.

I hav my work on one or two tabs and games on another, pull the game tab down to the middle of the screen the work tabs disappear and hit alt+tab and it switches back and forth

This never happened to me, but it (almost) happened to my brother. My brother was playing one of those random free, rarely updated browser pixel fps games on his school computer around the time Pixel Gun 3D came out, when we were both in high school. Games like these were getting popular at this time. So anyways, during lunch, his computer froze and he couldn't do anything about it, and the screen was just a still image of someone jumping at him with a FN Scar (as he told me), and lunch ended right when it froze. He got put in ISS because our school was really strict about these pixel games when they started arising.
