Weird in 1973 the average Mileage per Gallon for vehicles was 12.9 Miles Per Gallon. Today the average vehicle is getting 25.7 - basically doubling the fuel efficiency of vehicles. Which means more miles for less emissions. Almost as if they are more environmentally friendly now than they were in the 70s.... But they didn't do anything right?
