*Simon sobbed with relief, his breaths shaking through the coms*

Simon: “…Thank you… thank you, Stella- thank god for you- she is would never have listened to me-“

*Simon seemed to snap out of his daze, whipping his head toward the speaker*

Simon: “Stella…? You… your back!!” *He sniffles, rubbing his eyes with his knuckles* “Thank you- what she say? Did you get ahold of her??”

*He didn’t answer, but you could hear him crying. He was speaking to someone in hushed whispers. A lot of cursing, for sure.*

Simon: “It’s not f**king fair- it’s not-“
*Maybe he couldn’t hear you?*

*The woman scoffed, muttering something*

Ava: “Sure. Right back at you.”
*She didn’t sound serious, but she stepped away from the microphone to talk to someone else*

*Ava huffed, her fists clenching from where she sat at the desk*

Ava: “Fine. I’ll try and locate the sub. But can you find his frequency again and- oh I dunno- keep him sane?”
