She walks over to the two men, nearly tripping over herself in fear of the suspicious person following her. She bumped into one of them, speaking loud enough so the person following her could hear. "Oh! I didn't expect to see you here!"

She lowered her voice to a whisper. "Please play along, I think I'm being followed..."

*Arthur (top) seemed surprised at first, his hands instinctively finding her shoulders to steady her. Charlie frowned, looking up to see the man that was following her. A silent understanding passed between the two, before Arthur spoke loudly just as she had* “Ah! It’s wonderful to see you! On your way to…” *he trailed off, looking at his husband desperately. Charlie spoke up* “indeed. We invited you to dinner. I don’t suppose you’ve forgotten?”

"That was tonight? Well, It's a good thing I'm in one of my finer dresses!" She gave them a grateful look, glancing behind nervously to see if the person was still following her.

*the man following you had stopped a few feet away, pretending to smoke a cigarette. Arthur looped his arm around her shoulders, pulling her closer to the both a them. Charlie kept rubbing his throat, where a shallow cut lay. They had been attacked too.*
Arthur: “well we might as well walk with you then, hm?”

"I'd appreciate that, thanks!" She smiled, gaze narrowing on the cut. She'd ask them about it later, but for now, she was focused on getting away from the man following her. "You two are so kind."

*Arthurs fingers kept twitching toward his pocket, but decided not grab whatever it was. The minute they rounded the corner onto the next street, Charlie sighed with relief*
Charlie: “Are you okay?”

"Gosh, I don't know. I've never seen that man before and he suddenly started following me. I'm infinitely grateful to you two for your help." She bowed gratefully, adjusting the hatpin in her hair. "Is there anything I can do to repay you?"

*They both shook their heads and continued walking*
Arthur: “No-no. You don’t have to repay us.”
Charlie: “Though you can still stay with us if you like. We have some company over, but I don’t suppose that’ll be an issue…?”

"Ah, no, of course not. I don't have anyone waiting for me at home..." She looked a little sad, fidgeting with her dress before sighing. "Thank you, truly."

Arthur: *he nodded slowly* “Ah, I see. Well you’re welcome to stay with us as long as you like.”
Charlie: “Agreed.”
*charlie was silently wondering why this girl didn’t find it strange that two men lived alone together*

Bella was honestly just assuming they were roommates, not really looking too far into it. She shook her head, smiling. "No, no, I think I'll just stay for the night, if that's alright with you."

*Charlie nodded, pointing down the street as he spoke*
Charlie: “Of course. Out flat is just down here.”

She followed behind, her shoes tapping against the stone street. (SORRY FOR SHORT REPLY SAS ETST ABT TO START >:[ ahhh!!)

*Upon getting there, they unlocked and pushed open the door for you. The inside was cozy and neat, with a more rustic feel. On the far wall, was a sitting area with a fireplace and a sofa. Near the window on the other side of the room, was a makeshift study, with a cork board covered in red string and photos and a simple desk cluttered with books. The only other distinguishing features was the door leading up the stairs, a door into the kitchen, and a man and woman sitting on the couch talking.*
