WW1 was none of America's business. If they hadn't gotten involved, then Britain and Germany would have likely grinded to a halt. Which would mean no treaty, and probably no Hitler/WW2.
In Texas, a homeschool is a private school. Basically zero government oversight whatsoever. If a kid wants to be a doctor, then they can study that exclusively without wasting their time in middle school and high school learning all of that pointless nonsense. If a kid wants to be a mechanic, more of the same. As far as math is concerned, anything you learn past 5th grade is never used in the real world.
