DO YOU UNDERSTAND THAT WE’RE ALL IN A SPIRITUAL WAR AGANST SATAN AND HIS HENCHMEN DEMONS? I had a professor in Bible college who made a great point about Satan. This has nothing to do with more easily deceiving those less intelligent, but my professor said the devil doesn't even have to be intelligent to dupe a lot of us. The Greek word for demon means, "intelligent ones," but on top of Satan's intelligence, he also has 6000 years of watching us tick. From that he’s learned every possible shortfall we have so he knows how to tap into our weaknesses. He doesn't even need to be smart since he's able to repackage the same simple lies for each new generation that hasn't learned those lessons yet; and who won’t study their history. People fall for the same lies over and over. Your defense is waiting for you there in the wisdom of your Bible. Do you want to be wise? Study your Bible. | image tagged in god, bible, demon, satan, jesus, lies | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

Salvation: When I die, how can I know for sure that I will be saved so I can be with God for eternity instead of cutoff from him; ending up in hell? 1. I must understand and admit my spiritual need. 2. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ of the Bible and accept the fact that He died on the cross to pay for my sins; He took the death penalty in my place. 3. Receive Him as Savior. God is holy and I am not. He is just so He demands punishment for my sins. I’m in a heap of trouble and cannot undo it myself. I can’t earn it because no work by me can attain it. Praise God that He was gracious to allow His Son to take the punishment in my place and I believe in that. I am trusting by faith in the fact that He did that work for me. That’s what it means to receive Christ as your Savior. If you believe this, you have Christ as your eternal Savior. And it can’t be lost. How can that which is eternal, become not-eternal? How can that which is born
again become unborn? How can that which is a gift be taken away? If so, it wouldn’t be a gift. | image tagged in god, salvation, heaven, hell, jesus, bible | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

Should we judge others? Of course; just as we judge when to cross a busy road. In fact, Jesus ORDERS us to judge. Read Matthew 7, John 7, and especially 1 Corinthians 6. Today’s secular society, along with some in the Church, use “Relativism” (all truth is relative so no one’s truth is absolute), or as it called today: “Tolerance." The NEW definition of tolerance says we need to praise and celebrate everyone's beliefs and lifestyles. This effectively stops us from judging anyone for anything. Advocates site Matthew 7:1: “Judge not, that you be not judged.” Yet, taken alone, this is out of context. We need to read on in Matthew 7. The full text tells us to get rid of our hypocrisy first and then help out our brother who is wrong: “...then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brothers eye.” So saying we should not judge is completely twisting Scripture. And Jesus clearly orders us to judge in John 7: “Stop judging by mere appearances and MAKE A RIGHT JUDGMENT.” [Emphasis added.] He clearly tells us to make a judgment. But when we do so, we are to do it right; don't be a hypocrite about it. The Bible's definition of tolerance is this: “Love the sinner but hate the sin.” And 1 Corinthians 6 is the nail in the coffin for relativism with its new definition of tolerance, which tells us not judge anyone for anything. The Apostle Paul said this: "If any of you has a dispute with another, do not take it before the ungodly for JUDGEMENT; instead of before the Lord's people. Do you not know that the saints will JUDGE the world and if you are to JUDGE the world, are you not competent to JUDGE trivial cases? Do you not know that we will JUDGE the angels? How much more, things of this life? Therefore if you have disputes about such matters, appoint as JUDGES even men of little account.” [Emphasis added.] Even in secular society we have laws, courts, law enforcement, settlements, jail, and prison. For someone to tell you we should not judge anything or
anyone is as ridiculous as you've probably thought it is. | image tagged in god, bible, jesus, judge, christian, salvation | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

IS BIBLE PROPHECY TOO HARD TO UNDERSTAND?
No. God’s inspired Word in the Bible was written so anyone can understand. And how can we pastors call ourselves faithful shepherds, who love our sheep, if we skip a quarter of the Bible? Alistair Begg: “It takes a whole Bible to make a whole Christian.” J. Vernon Magee: “God put the cookies down on the lower shelf so even the kids could get to them.” Dr. David Cooper, (founder of The Biblical Research Society): "When the plain sense of Scripture makes common sense, seek no other sense; therefore, take every word at its primary, ordinary, usual, literal meaning unless the facts of the immediate context, studied in the light of related passages and obvious and fundamental truths,
indicate clearly otherwise." The problem
is only when man starts to
read his own ideas into the Bible. All of the Bible is a blessing but God says Bible Prophecy has a triple blessing. It also keeps us from becoming too worldly minded because we are not saved for this messed up version of the earth here today. It's for the world to come. Bible prophecy tells us about our amazing future! When the Rapture happens, we go to heaven to be with God and then come back with Jesus to the earth to rule and reign with him in the Millennial Kingdom for 1000 years. Then the earth is renovated into a new creation that turns it back into a Garden of Eden and we live in peace with all creatures. You can have a pet lion, tiger, and bear. Who wouldn't want to be here for that? No one has a brighter future than Christians and that’s the message from Bible prophecy. It also makes us aware that today could be the last day, so we should not only be living for Jesus, but also witnessing for Him. | image tagged in future, bible, prophecy, jesus, god | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
