Do Seventh Day Adventists, Jehovah's Witnesses, and Mormons put a curse on their followers? [1 of 4] Thousands of years ago, as told in Galatians, Paul dealt with the same heresy that claims we make it to heaven through Jesus AND the Old Testament Law. This idea has been repackaged by the Seventh Day Adventists, yet Christians and others give them a pass. Paul says this: "Have you suffered so much for nothing? Does God give you His Spirit and work miracles among you because you observe the law [No!], OR is it because you believe what you heard [about Jesus]? The Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles [us, non-Jews] by faith [in Jesus]… ALL WHO RELY ON OBSERVING THE LAW ARE UNDER A CURSE.” So whenever anyone, including Seventh Day Adventists, Jehovah's Witnesses, Mormons, or you name it, claim Jesus is the way BUT you've got to keep certain laws or group rules, they are attempting to preach a curse on you. I'm not saying that; it's God's Word.
