BAPTISM OF THE DEAD!? IS THAT REALLY A THING?
Just to clarify, Mormons do not drag corpses into their temples for this ritual of theirs. But their practice of baptism for the dead is still a non-biblical belief. Mormons do it as a supposed means of making a public profession of faith "on behalf" of a person that is already deceased. Here's the obvious problem: we don't accept infant baptism as a means of salvation because an infant can't make a confession of faith. When the baby fails to accept or reject Jesus, you just get a wet baby. As Protestants, that's why we reject infant baptism.
Secondly, at least infants are alive. So as a discerning Christian, if you reject baby baptism, wouldn’t you say dead folks profess no faith? And if they do, run! As a supposed Christian religion, why would Mormonism have a weird ritual for a dead person when there are only two outcomes at the moment of death: heaven or hell. And you stay there since it can’t be reversed.
But today it’s popular to soften the harshness of hell. Saying a corpse can have a second chance, may sound good, and work better for recruiting followers, but it eliminates the reality of hell as THE huge motivator to be saved during your only chance, which is while alive. When the Mormon follower doesn’t get saved because they’ll just wait for their second chance when their kids baptize their corpse, who in the Mormon organization will take responsibility for teaching them

WHAT HAPPENS TO YOU IN THAT ONE SECOND AFTER YOU DIE??
If there's one universal truth in life, it's got to be this: We all wonder what lies beyond the grave. Is it the end of our existence or the beginning of eternal bliss? Is it something to be fearful of, or look forward to? Most people seem to be in the dark about it even though they don’t need to be. But one day, and "One Second After You Die," you will find out. Before it’s too late, in order to prepare you for that moment and for eternity, “One Second After You Die,” takes a look at the four basic questions concerning eternal matters:; Is There Life After Death, What Happens When You Die, Is There Really a Heaven, and the same question about Hell? As you will discover, there are only two options; you either go up or down. So each of us is currently headed for eternal bliss in heaven or eternal torment in hell. Scoff all you want, but once you're gone, there is no coming back and no second chance.
Please reach out and give your life to Jesus Christ today because

Sin Obliterated (This is cool!)

Not only can Christians relax in total peace because God has cleansed us of all sin, but when God says He will remember our sins no more, the Hebrew word used is, "obliterated." Our sins have been eradicated out of existence. Forgetting them was enough but, praise God, there is nothing left of them!!

With that in mind, in Philippians, Paul says to look at it this way:

"I forget what lies behind and run swiftly toward what's ahead.”

What was ahead for Paul (and is ahead for us), was the prize he could lay at Jesus’ feet. He strove heavenward at the task Christ had for Him. In the Greek, the word used for ”forget” is to the point of "oblivion."; There it is again! God says He obliterates any memory of our sins and Paul lets us know that means we are not to dwell, for even one moment, on past sins. That is absolutely awesome?!!

Whether your sin happened a year ago or one minute before now, for Christians, that sin has been expunged from all memory. It's been eliminated, exterminated, and annihilated. Why? That's what God's done for us because he loves us, and so that we can focus on helping others come to heaven with us.

IS HELL REALLY FOREVER AND EVER? Scripture always cuts through the lies, including denials that there is a hell and that it is ETERNAL punishment. How can such deniers as Seventh Day Adventists and Jehovah's Witnesses get around Matthew 25: "Then the unsaved will go away to ETERNAL punishment, but the righteous to ETERNAL life.” We all agree heaven is forever but the very same verse says hell is too. If we get to heaven, we know we won’t ever be kicked out—praise God! Yet we disbelieve when the same sentence says the unsaved go to hell for “ETERNAL" punishment. Hell is perhaps a primary reason God sent Jesus to die on the cross. God is not willing that any should perish. Matthew 25 says hell was originally created for the devil & demons, whose fate is sealed. Just like them, we too rebelled, yet, Christ gave us a way out, having done all that is needed to save us. But when we use our free will to reject the help, hell is where we go. We’ve chosen our road. Fortunately, when we put our faith in Jesus, He is faithful to save, forgive, and cleanse us of sin so we can be in heaven instead. Contrary to what false teachers claim, Christ did not allow Himself to be tortured and killed to get us some life enhancements like mansions and expensive cars. Jesus Christ came to destroy
the works of the devil and in that way, save us from hell. | image tagged in hell, death, heaven, eternity, purpose, life | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
