IS HELL REALLY FOREVER AND EVER? Scripture always cuts through the lies, including denials that there is a hell and that it is ETERNAL punishment. How can such deniers as Seventh Day Adventists and Jehovah's Witnesses get around Matthew 25: "Then the unsaved will go away to ETERNAL punishment, but the righteous to ETERNAL life.” We all agree heaven is forever but the very same verse says hell is too. If we get to heaven, we know we won’t ever be kicked out—praise God! Yet we disbelieve when the same sentence says the unsaved go to hell for “ETERNAL" punishment. Hell is perhaps a primary reason God sent Jesus to die on the cross. God is not willing that any should perish. Matthew 25 says hell was originally created for the devil & demons, whose fate is sealed. Just like them, we too rebelled, yet, Christ gave us a way out, having done all that is needed to save us. But when we use our free will to reject the help, hell is where we go. We’ve chosen our road. Fortunately, when we put our faith in Jesus, He is faithful to save, forgive, and cleanse us of sin so we can be in heaven instead. Contrary to what false teachers claim, Christ did not allow Himself to be tortured and killed to get us some life enhancements like mansions and expensive cars. Jesus Christ came to destroy the works of the devil and in that way, save us from hell.
