WHAT DOES TEXAS HAVE TO DO WITH BIBLE PROPHECY? Over and over again, God prophecied the rise and fall of nations. And many of His 2500 predictions were very specific. Jesus alone fulfilled over 300, including being born of a virgin and the seed of Abraham. And even before the Romans invented crucifixion, God of the Bible predicted Jesus' hands would be pierced. The odds of only eight specifically-predicted events coming true (let alone 300) for one entity like Jesus, is exactly the same as this: Let’s say we cover all of Texas three-feet deep in silver dollars. Then we mark a red "X" on one more and randomly toss it from an airplane somewhere across the state. Next we blindfold a guy who has to wade through the coins, having one chance to pick one coin that he can’t see and hope it is our red-x’d silver dollar. What are his chances? Mathematically those are the exact odds of only eight prophecies coming true for one entity like Jesus. Again, He actually fulfilled 300 that God gave us in advance. With that in mind, can you see the tragedy of keeping the information from people, including Christians? Without knowing Bible prophecy like that, is it any wonder people these days are skeptical about the veracity of the Bible? Praise God for Bible prophecy, which drills into our heads the fact that Jesus is coming back and no one has a brighter future than Christians. By God’s Bible prophecy, we can be encouraged with each of the 2500 times God gives predictions to prove the Bible came from Him. Already 2000 have come true with 500 more are lining up right now. Do you see what all people, including most Christians, are missing out on from not being feed with basic Bible prophecy? | image tagged in texas, bible, prophecy, future, christian, jesus | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT SEEKER-FRIENDLY MEGA CHURCHES AND THEIR CHURCH GROWTH MOVEMENT? The mindset of pastors was transformed from seminaries on down through Bible colleges, denominations, and then to organizations. The whole definition of success with the Church Growth Movement has nothing to do with spiritual growth because that only comes from preaching the whole Word of God. The last thing Jesus said was not, “Add a bunch of believers so you can crank the numbers up to fill your big sanctuary.” Instead, He said to go into the world and make “discipled leaners” (in the Greek) of God’s Word. So, the top focus is supposed to be on the spiritual growth of Christians, which is preaching the entire Word of God. That will make tons of evangelizers. Instead, for 25 years the Church Growth Movement’s mantra has been, “It’s all about numbers.” Frankly, I think that is aiding
apostate behavior and not carrying out Jesus’ directive for us. | image tagged in church, christian, disciple, god, bible, jesus | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

WHY DO ONLY 50% OF CHRISTIANS TRUST THE BIBLE 100%? [3 of 4]
Another reason we can trust the Bible is that there are close to 25,000 copies of the New Testament alone; some from the actual lifetime of the writers. It used to be that the oldest were within 25 years of the date written, (which is amazing), but now we even have Scripture from the same year it was written. Those copies are on pottery that was stored in Qumran. For some strange reason that extraordinary historical find doesn’t get on the History Channel. It gets no attention from secular media even though the Qumran caves of the Judaean Desert (West Bank of Israel) had Old and New Testament materials, again, some of the latter that are from the same year the original was written. That is absolutely phenomenal! The Bible is unquestionably reliable. Now let’s contrast the Bible with the writings of Aristotle and Plato that no one mocks the veracity of. The Bible has 25,000 copies, some from within the same year as the original, yet people feel free to question the authority and authenticity of Scripture while the earliest copies of Plato and Aristotle are 1200 and 1400 years removed, respectively, from the originals. And there are only 7 and 49 copies of those works on the whole planet. No one scoffs at the authenticity of those books, while at the same time they do with the Bible, which is totally reliable. | image tagged in bible, trust, truth, god, christian, jesus | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
