Some say Catholicism's pope hat comes from Babylonian occult practices. There is a huge debate about that probably coming from Babylon, as well as other practices of the Catholic Church. The Pope's hat is called a "Mitre," which closely resembles the fish-head hats that Babylonian priests wore as they worshipped “Dagon," the "fish god.”; Of course, Catholicism denies it came from Babylonian worship. Though looking at that comparison, I'm not sure. Also, the Babylonians kept little figurines in their homes that represented their gods, animals, and mystical creatures. Doesn't that sound exactly like the figurine worship of Catholicism today?
