He didn't just eat humans, but also fellow drones. he would have been killing a lot lately, or he would to to the junkyard were dead drones are taken. it had been a few weeks and he had enough of stuff. it had just become school holidays, so she was walking there with Natalie. she had been living with zenith and her family for a bit. Her human companion, Lena had found her a bit strange with her clock eye. Lena's Older brother Tim was more accepting. They finally reached the old apartment-cabin combo that was Jack's home. she knocked on the cedar door. "Yes? Oh zenith. it's you. all ready?" he said. Pilot- Chapter 3; "Yes. now were exactly have you been getting the materials?" she asked. EJ chuckled. "Local junkyard. plenty of scrap metal and stuff there". His hand twitched a bit. last week, He had revealed that he would add human parts to himself, 'For reasons' he had said. it had happened when he had accidentally set the kitchen on fire, and his arm had caught ablaze. he shortly after had a new arm. it was a bit creepy, she had to admit. she had been quite confused, as drones were not supposed to catch fire. She walked down the hallway leading to the basement she had woken up in. she had told her family that she was just going to a friends house for a few days, as EJ had joined the school. He started getting the toolbox ready. "All's well? not anxious or anything?" he asked. "No, I'm fine" she responded. "So, will I be able to hid the tail? it would be a bit awkward explaining to my parents how I have a syringe of stuff on me" she questioned. "you will be able to hide the tail. just make sure it doesn't pop out at times. if you get stung, use your visor tell us, and we will put the antidote on it. if you accidentally sting someone, just lick the affected area. That's what murder drones do if they get nanites on them. neutralises the lil' robots that chew at the metal" he replied. "wait, so nanite venom is just tiny-lil robots??". "pretty much". He brought out her wings. they had filaments that resembled feathers, but were shaped like scythe blades. Her tail was a small black cable, with a vial with a sharp needle on it. instead of nanite venom, it contained a toxin that was capable of paralysing both living and robotic life. it was teal and shone with an eerie glow. EJ picked up some tools with his multiple tongues. he had given them to himself so he could multitask, once again 'for reasons'. he had grown trusting enough of her to show his horns, a common mark of a wendigo drone, along with a tail with an insect-like end. his tail flickered about, grabbing random pests, including a small field mouse who was unfortunate enough to be close enough to it. Natalie came down the stairs, carrying a small bowl of AAA batteries. "So when will we be ready to start?" She asked, batteries crunching about. "Now" EJ said.
