Just as there were 300 Bible prophecies successfully predicting Christ’s first coming to earth, there are another 300 telling us about Jesus’s soon second coming. However, I don’t care how nifty you are with using a calculator or deciphering the constellations, the Bible lets us know that no one will know the day, nor the hour, even though we are given signs to know when the time is close. Let me give you a quick look at some of those prophecies so you can judge whether they are lining up now: Israel will return to the land, become a nation again, become a united nation again in one day, develop a powerful military, go back to the currency of the shekel, become
a source of world conflict, and blossom as a rose in the desert (it used to
be barren land but now they are the breadbasket of the Middle East). All those have happened. With the prophecy about Israel becoming a source of world conflict, I think it’s funny that people wonder how we can know when the time of Jesus’s return is close. Well, just turn on your TV, right? What is on the news so many nights? It’s little, bitty, teeny, tiny Israel as a source of conflict for the whole world. That’s Bible prophecy! Here are more predictions from the Bible: Israel will rebuild the temple, which they are ready for and want to do that right now. The world will see an increase in travel, knowledge, unrest, earthquakes, famines, pestilence, war, strange events in the sky, global catastrophes,

will know when we are living in those last days. What he wrote must have blown Timothy’s mind. Paraphrasing Paul in 2 Timothy 4:3, he basically said: Hey, listen, we won’t know the day or hour, but imagine that Christians will actually attend Church services where all they get from the pulpit will be fluffy stuff and stories made up. Paul tells Timothy the last days will involve the Church gathering around themselves teachers who will just tickle their ears (knetho in

will turn aside from the truth and only listen to myths
