WHAT SHOULD WE KNOW ABOUT HINDUISM? Besides Bible-based Christianity, all religions and cults are false faiths that lead people away from trusting Jesus alone as their way to get to heaven, so those followers end up going straight to hell. And a lot of Hindu beliefs are tragically sad for the earthly lives of its followers. Here’s just one example: How can financially comfortable Hindus drive their cars right past poor, starving people in ditches, ignoring their Hindu brothers and sisters that are crawling around in agony, dying, or already dead? How can those Hindus not stop to help the poor souls? Well, it’s because of their Hindu teachings: Hinduism claims those people need to keep suffering like that until they can help themselves, because they are supposedly working off their bad karma that was brought on themselves from negative actions they took in their past lives. And if a Hindu stops his or her vehicle to help, Hinduism claims that would mess up the ditch-dweller’s karma, making them go through another life with other bad
experiences, instead of fixing their issue now all by themselves in this life. So, Hindus drive by those suffering people, and it’s horrible but that's their belief system—lies from Satan. The false idea of karma comes from the pit of hell, and it is also why Christian missionaries to Hindu areas blow people away with Christian kindness. Jesus teaches us to love our enemies (Matthew 25); as well as help, feed, give cold water to, and otherwise do all we can to take care of everyone we are able. That's how we and others can know we're real Christians; we are to emulate the kindness and generosity of Christ. Unfortunately, this is also why the leaders and followers of Hinduism will persecute Christian missionaries who come to help suffering people in Hindu countries. Hindus want to get in between those suffering and their Christian caregivers because they claim that loving care is messing up the victim's
karma. But it’s not! The person is really just starving to death, while
false Hindu doctrine prevents the humanitarian response. | image tagged in hindu, karma, reincarnation, god, bible, jesus | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

WHY ARE ALL OUR RIGHTEOUS ACTS CONSIDERED FILTHY RAGS? Isaiah 64:6 says, “All of us have become like one who is unclean and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags." Our salvation is not the result of any of our efforts, abilities, intelligent choices, personal characteristics, or any acts of service we may perform. However, as believers, we are “created in Christ Jesus for good works,” which means we are to help and serve others. While there is nothing we can do to earn our salvation—because Jesus did that—God’s intention is that our salvation will result in Christ-like acts of service to help build the kingdom of Jesus. Ephesians 4:12 tells us we are not merely saved for our own benefit, but to serve Christ and build up the Church. This profound
biblical truth reconciles the seeming conflict between faith and works. No one needs to be enslaved by man’s decrees of some supposedly-needed religiosity that involves some efforts (works) that man lays out as the way we somehow get ourselves to heaven, instead of just trusting in Jesus' death on the cross. James 1:22 and 2:14-26 let us know that our righteous acts do not produce salvation; instead, they are evidence of our appreciation for Christ’s free gift of salvation. In the end we must recognize that even our righteous acts come as a result of God within us, not of ourselves. Working on our own to try achieving salvation for ourselves—whether in conjunction with trusting in Jesus or not—our righteousness is simply self-righteousness, showing a
vain and hypocritical religion that produces nothing more than “filthy rags.”
We work for Christ’s kingdom because He saved us from hell by
His sacrifice alone. [Some excerpts from GotQuestions.org] | image tagged in sin, works, heaven, hell, god, bible | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
