DID WE GET MOST UNBIBLICAL FAITHS THROUGH UNGODLY SPIRITS? In our study, "World Religions, Cults & The Occult," we show the fact that Joseph Smith established Mormonism from a spirit (demon) he called “Moroni.” With our study, "Islam: Religion of War or Peace?," we give the history of Muhammad, who says he had a similar spirit (demon) encounter in a cave while meditating, and it gave him the words of the Quran. He initially thought it was evil because it repeatedly choked him, but his wife convinced him the spirit (demon) was Allah blessing him. Likewise, our study called, "Seventh-Day Adventists and the False Prophecies of Ellen G. White," explains the spirit guide (demon) that Ellen G. White says gave her the visions that SDA was founded on. Our book, "New Age & The Last Days Deception," lists a myriad of New Age individuals who confess that their information came from spirits (demons). Likewise, "Scientology and the Occult Teachings of L. Ron Hubbard," explains how Hubbard, (with Jack Parsons of JPL Laboratories fame, inventor of the first rocket engine), was a practitioner of dark magic witchcraft, just like Joseph Smith. Hubbard said he had a spirit guide (demon) to help him form his “religion.” On down the line, today’s non-biblical faiths that incorporate corruption of biblical teachings, got their supposed “new and secret information” from spirits (demons). Instead of the false claim that these were all benevolent helpful spirits (demons), those entities have all been malevolent fallen beings, which the Bible calls, “familiar spirits.” These evil entities, that hate humans because God made us, spout the same old lies from Satan. When demons communicate their false teachings to people, they try convincing us that God’s Word in the Bible should be questioned and that we too can become like God. If that sounds familiar, it’s those same untruths that were first given to humans by the father of lies, Satan. It's all just the same old, same old, which might as well be the devil talking to Eve in the Garden of Eden. Similar evil spirits (demons) corrupted Joseph Smith, Muhammad, Ellen G. White, so many New Agers, L. WHO MADE GOD? Besides biblical and eye-witness proof of God’s existence, there is the natural and scientific "Cosmological Argument” (Argument of Beginnings), which says there had to be a beginning of everything we see. No matter how far back you want to go, there has to have been a first cause of us being here now. That beginning of our time and the revealing of the one true God is also given by God in the very first verse of the Bible: "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” Breaking that down: In the beginning God created all time, space (the heavens), and matter (the earth). However, being self-existent, God is in the realm of eternity where he also exists outside our time. God created a beginning of our time for us to be in and there will be an end to it. So, we now live in our own realm of time, given to us by God. Being above and beyond all that, God can see the beginning and end of our time. That's what makes Him the One and ONLY Supreme Being. And it’s why God’s Word in the Bible had already accurately predicted a couple thousand events in our history—before they happened for us! Even with that proof, we hear, "Well, then who made God?” But that question is time based. By definition, a Supreme Being is above and beyond all that. And what makes Him supreme is He's not dependent upon anyone for His existence. Can we become Gods, as Mormonism, Hinduism, and New Age claim? No, because the one true supreme God has no beginning. When Moses asked God: “Who do I say that You are?“ God replied, simply: "I Am Who I Am." He doesn't have a beginning because beginnings are a time-based question and He's above and beyond all that. How can false belief systems claim humans can become God, the Supreme Being, who by definition has no beginning. DOES GOD THE FATHER HAVE FLESH & BONES, AS THE MORMONS TEACH? NO! In John 4:24, Jesus told us: "God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and truth.” God the Father is spirit. He has no body. Yet Mormons invariably site Bible passages like the one where God produces the Ten Commandments with the "finger" of God. Of course that is just an anthropomorphism, with God using our language to explain who He is. And what about Psalm 91:4, which says, "God will cover you with His feathers; under His wings you will find refuge." Does that mean God is a giant space-chicken?! It’s not meant literally, just as God isn’t a huge writing finger. People often use anthropomorphisms. One time my wife said something that really would have scared and freaked me out if she meant it literally: When our daughter Rebecca was a little crumb-snatcher, just a tiny baby, my wife bundled her in a blanket. I heard her say she wrapped Rebecca up like a burrito. So, I thought she was going to eat our little one!! But, of course, it was just a phrase women use, though it seems like a torture technique to me. Still, moms like it. All attempts to prove God has a body, fail. It's not even logical. Besides, I’ll believe Jesus. He’s always right. They cannot lead to the same outcome. Is it one God or many gods? Are all the names equating to the same spirit? Or is it just a mixed bag of confusion?
