WHY DON’T TODAY’S JEWISH RABBI’S BELIEVE JESUS CHRIST IS THE PROMISED MESSIAH THEY HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR? [1 of 3] As human beings, we don't like to admit we’re wrong, especially when we must confess to being hopelessly sinful. Our human nature loves power and control, while we also want to feel special, important, and valuable. Knowing this, we should not be surprised when the Bible tells us humans had a similar mindset two thousand years ago, during a time of widespread religious hypocrisy and corruption—like today. So, the love and pursuit of power and control—mixed with religion—was also pervasive way back then. With all this in mind, is it possible that those rabbi’s accused Jesus and His followers of idol worship because they feared Christ’s ministry would cause them to lose power and status? Historical researchers located about twenty ancient sources, including the Dead Sea Scrolls, Josephus, and rabbinic writings that detail how absolutely corrupt Israel’s religious leaders were during that time of the Second Temple. They wanted Jesus dead, even though He let them know He hadn’t come to abolish God’s laws; He said He came to fulfill them. What Jesus did reject were the manmade traditions invented and hallowed by the rabbi’s of Christ’s day. Those
were called the “oral law.” But Jesus knew that tradition just
produces religion, and religion distances us from God. | image tagged in rabbi, jewish, god, bible, jesus, israel | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

WHAT IS A MESSIANIC JEW? These are simply people of Jewish descent who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. However, the subject is a bit confusing because Scripture says those who become saved through Jesus are no longer Jews or Gentiles (non-Jews)—we’re all Christians. Still, society uses terms like "Messianic Jew" or "Completed Jew" to reference how a saved person has a Jewish background. I don't have much of a problem with those terms, if they are well explained to avoid confusion in the Christian Church. If not, some might think there are two biblically separate types of Christians:; those born-again—but also of Jewish decent—can sound like they are somehow different from other Christians. And for all followers of Judaism, we know that God is not done with the miraculous wonders He will perform through His Jewish people. Still, just like everyone else, Jews will not reach heaven unless they become born-again through Christ. Again, when we use terms like “messianic” or “completed” for Jews who get saved, it almost sounds like
there is division between non-Jewish Christians and Jews who have become
Christians. But to God, we are all one in Christ, so there is no difference.
We must be careful of what we believe and say on this subject, so we
are sure to give the conversation a balanced understanding. | image tagged in messiah, god, jesus, jewish, christian, bible | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

DO JEWISH PEOPLE THINK CHRISTIANS WORSHIP THREE GODS? [1 of 2] When witnessing about Christ to those in the religion of Judaism, you may hear them say Christians believe in three Gods, but Jews have only one. Jewish people choke on the idea of the Trinity, though a quick explanation shows it is not an issue. In fact, even Jesus taught that there is only one God: Christ quoted Deuteronomy 6:4 from the Jewish (and Christian) Old Testament when questioned by a scribe who asked Him, “Which commandment is the most important of all?”; Jesus answered, “The most important one is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.’ ” So, Christ certainly supported there being only one God. And we can reciprocate with this challenging question for a Jewish person: Who is Scripture talking about in your—and Christian’s—Old Testament book of Genesis (1:26), when God says, "Let us make man in our image." Genesis uses the Hebrew word “Elohim,” which means a plural
number. Hmmm, there's some food for thought, and that's in the first chapter
of the Jewish Torah (the first five books of the Old Testament). | image tagged in jewish, christian, trinity, god, jesus, holy spirit | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

WHAT IS ORTHODOX JUDAISM? [4 of 5] Self-focused individuals, living with billions of others around the planet, want to feel special. But every human is already exceptional: God fashioned each of us in our mother’s womb, every one of us a unique, notable, special creation. But the vast majority of humanity—the broad swath (road) mentioned in Scripture—do not take the time to learn God’s Word in the Bible, where each person would find out that he or she is completely unique, made exactly the way God wanted them. Unfortunately, most people do not put the Armor of God by reading the Bible, so they easily fall for even the simplest
of deceptions that are constantly put out by people doing Satan’s
bidding—whether those satanically duped people know it or not. Men and women easily become enamored with false teachers claiming to have secret knowledge that has never been taught before. These charlatans claim they received their special knowledge as a direct download from God, and He personally picked this (false) teacher to receive information that no one else was given. Now they are being gracious enough to pass it onto you and me. But these self-aggrandizing frauds are just tossing us trash, the same old recycled garbage. Yet, plenty of unknowingly deceived people will slave for those lies and pay out a lot of money to them—all resulting in an
eternity in hell, if they don’t find Jesus before death. | image tagged in orthodox, jewish, judaism, works, god, bible | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
