IS THE "WORD OF FAITH" MOVEMENT JUST WESTERNIZED HINDUISM? [2 of 4] Whether you know much about Word of Faith preachers or not, it is rampant in the Christian Church today. When you see them on Christian television, just know that the whole thing is demonic. They are not only ripping off well-meaning—but uninformed—folks in the Church, most often it is the poorest Christians that they take advantage of. The only difference between Eastern, Hindu gurus and their American counterparts in the Word of Faith movement is that the latter sprinkle Christianese on the Hindu sales pitch. Folks want to believe the claims of slick men or women on television who promises to alleviate their health issues and financial struggles. Instead, just like the gurus in India, these conmen that have invaded the Western Church are just
scamming people to grab their cash, and that includes the many, many
Word of Faith preachers in the Christian Church today. | image tagged in hindu, christian, false teachers, god, bible, jesus | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

WHAT IS A KING JAMES PRAYER? First, prayer is an actual conversation in a personal relationship with God, and certainly not like Hindu meditation and mantras with their mindless repetition (babble) of words or phrases, hoping to get into an altered state of consciousness. Jesus clearly warns us not to babble on, and the Bible says, "Ask and you will receive." So, biblical prayer involves an intelligent conversation, and in no way includes emptying our minds in some esoteric, mystical, and meditative experience. Prayer is a personal relationship with God, not a clearing of the mind to allow for communing with
demon spirits. And as far as the way we should talk with God in prayer, I've demonstrated it to my congregation by showing them how NOT to talk to my wife: I do not use some biblical lingo that sounds like it came from the 1611 King James Version of the Bible, something like, "Oh, Brandie, thou art thee that I loveth, as thou goest in thy wondrousness." That's just playing goofy games with conversation and it's important that you do not do that when talking with God. It is not some rehearsed speech. And I don't prepare to speak wife each day by reading and maybe even memorizing material that I later explain to her through some exact step-by-step formula for supposedly more effective communication. It’s the same with true biblical prayer to God: It should be from the heart.
But people desiring religiosity like to throw in mystical lingo. | image tagged in bible, prayer, god, jesus, marriage | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

DO SEVENTH DAY ADVENTISTS, JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES, AND MORMONS PUT A CURSE ON THEIR FOLLOWERS? [4 of 4] By subjecting their followers to outdated Old Testament Law, as well as organizational rules—their prescription to supposedly make it to heaven—Seventh Day Adventists, Mormons, Jehovah’s Witnesses, and other cults put a horrible curse on their devotees. That is what these false faiths do with their works-based gospel, which is nothing new, just a repackaging of the same old heresy from way back at the beginning of the Church. Each of them are harming their followers to the point of putting those poor people under a curse. I did not say that. It is exactly what we find in Scripture. We flawed humans can't even keep the first commandment: How many of us have spent every day of our lives perfectly loving
the Lord our God with all our heart, mind, and strength? Don't say you have, or you'll also be guilty of violating the ninth commandment against lying—of course you already have anyway—I'm just trying to help. But my point is that we can't even make it past one requirement in an attempt to achieve our own salvation without Jesus. So, it ain't gonna happen! We need Christ. Seventh Day Adventists, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Mormonism, and many, many other false-faith organizations are just works-based cults—because cults are always works based. These groups begin their teachings by getting their source of authority (not the Bible) wrong and then all their other doctrine tumbles downhill from there. They may even profess to rely supremely on the Bible, but when pressed and in practice, they do not! Ultimately, they get the wrong way to heaven because they do not trust in the free work of Christ alone. And this has been
purposeful from their founding became a free gift from Jesus does
not allow those organizations to control people, gain slave labor,
and coerce a massive amount of money from them. | image tagged in mormon, adventist, jehovah's witness, god, bible, jesus | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

IS THE "WORD OF FAITH" MOVEMENT JUST WESTERNIZED HINDUISM? [1 of 4] Even a secular world can see the Word of Faith preachers for the hucksters they are. Day after day they get on television, claiming we can have a perfect life full of riches beyond our most ambitious dreams, just as India’s gurus promise Hindus. Both the Word of Faith people and Hindu gurus also promise perfect health. Still, the Christian Church today is mostly silent about these people in our midst. And what is the result? Second Peter tells us that the failure to mention it, thus allowing it to grow in the Church, brings the truth of Christianity into shameful disrepute. We must call a spade a spade! Here are the kinds of preachers Peter warned us to look out for in these last days of the Christian Church: "In their greed these teachers will exploit you with stories they made up. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them and their
destruction has not been sleeping.” In other words, we don't want
to be around them when the hammer comes down. | image tagged in hindu, false teachers, god, bible, jesus, church | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

WHO WAS "NOSE-HAIR DAMUS?” He is better known as Nostradamus, the guy who wrote quatrain (four-line) predictions about the future, for which people still call him a prophet. But he wrote purposely-vague predictions of future events so that all sorts of coming scenarios could be said to have fulfilled his non-specific forecasts. And Nostradamus was actually involved with witchcraft. He practiced the sorcery of scrying, an occult activity that involves staring at fire, or a shiny surface like a mirror or water, until you get into an altered state of
consciousness that allows you to more easily receive visions
and messages from spirits—which are demons. Here are other ways he practiced witchcraft's scrying: "He used various forms of meditation, focusing on fire or water while being under the influence of mild hallucinogens.” And he knew he was messing with dangerous occult practices, even warning his son not to dare do what dad had done. About his witchcraft, Nostradamus said this: “Such practices 'dry up the body, disturb the mind, and send the soul to hell.' For that reason he burned the ancient
books, in which he first discovered the techniques involved.
He said they burned with an unnatural brilliance.” | image tagged in nostradamus, god, bible, witchcraft, jesus | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
