Those present at the time described absolute chaos, and everyone wanting to preach—most did. Was any speakers vetted to see if they were even Christians? Did anyone ask for a testimony to see if those teaching the crowd were even saved through Jesus? No, and no. Even some local witches and sorcerers preached. At least Seymour realized they were occult people and stopped them from preaching, but those occult followers continued to attend and practice their weird worship—of who? Also strange for a Church service were reports of kissing between unmarried persons. One of those who did not preach was Seymour, who just sat with his head in a crate; from time to time he shouted, "Repent!”
